Chapeaux

The first time I saw them, I tried to imagine their suffering, the acid on their face, destroying their beauty, their hopes. I can’t believe that after all that pain, today I have seen them smiling.

  1. It invites you to think, and I´ve noticed in headline: "What happens if we leave Afghannistan".
The really sad thing is that this kind of things happens with NATO in charge...
    Anywhere, I like your nano!

  3. Ana, I think this is a very good story. It makes you think and reflect. The point is that this things happend nowadays. And most of the times, we aren´t concious about the reality those women are living every day. What makes this story work is to have taken a piece of news which has a huge impact when reading. The photo also helps a lot! =)

  4. I love the title you decided to put. ``Chapeaux´´ It´s like ``I cant believe these things continue happening/existing´´. Neither I can. We can only trust in their smiles. I am sure those smiles will change the world for better

  6. It is a great work! I still can´t believe how can happen all that.
The image also is very shocking. I saw that picture (and another ones horribles) last year in the Caixa Forum building in a photography exhibition that shows to our culture those terrifying things and claimed for something better...
